Blessings: Robin Hayes Schafer

“It’s important to take a gratitude inventory and often. I am thankful for my salvation, first and foremost. I am thankful for growing another year older and for my health. So many are struggling every day. I am thankful to have a family to spend the holidays with, and thankful we can afford what we want to eat and that we have a home to enjoy it in. I am thankful for my job that provides me the ability to pay my bills, even if it means that sometimes I have to give up some things that I want. For many, having their basic needs met is a luxury. I am thankful to have a car to get where I need to go and money to buy gas. I am thankful for my son, who I love and who loves me. For many, having a child is not a possibility or they have suffered the unthinkable loss of a child. I am thankful that I still have my Mom. So many no longer have their parents. I am thankful to live in this community and for my church family. I pray for blessings to all. - Robin Hayes Schafer
