“What am I thankful for? First and foremost, I’m thankful that God loved me enough to send Jesus to save me and that He still loves me unconditionally. That He overlooks my many faults and keeps my family in His loving arms. I’m thankful for my family and awesome friends that won’t let my smiles fade. I’m so grateful for good health. I may not be rich financially, but I am rich in so many other ways. God supplies all my necessities and most of my wants. I am thankful that I am better today than I was yesterday, because although I make mistakes, I learn from them. I am thankful for my job as a preschool teacher at LMA. My LMA family and the students I’ve taught over the last 20-plus years are amazing. I’m blessed because I am loved! I’m thankful for the memories I have and for the ones I’ve yet to make. Recently, I lost a dear friend, and even though my heart is broken for her family, it has made me even more thankful for waking up each morning with new hopes, love, laughter, tears, success, failure, and all experiences God has planned for me. I have decided to praise Him in the good times, the bad times, and also, in-between. And, finally, I’m thankful for my country; even though we are in turmoil, it is still a great county to live in. Happy Thanksgiving to you. I pray you’re as blessed in your life as I am.” - Cindy McCabe
