The Clarendon County Optimist Club will meet 6 p.m. Thursday at Shoney’s in Manning. Clarendon School District 2 Family Literacy Coordinator Ellen Hamilton will be the guest speaker. Meeting agenda items include the induction of new members; an update on the Optimist Outlet at Bonanza Flea Market; talk about Breakfast with Santa on Dec. 2 at Manning Restaurant; and a family to sponsor for Christmas.
