East Clarendon team takes third in fishing tournament

East Clarendon High School teammates Joseph Welch and Austin Morris weighed four fish Saturday at the Lake Wateree Tournament held at Clear Water Cove. Their overall total was eight pounts, 12 ounces. Overall, the school’s fishing teams did well in the tournament, with six out of seven teams weighed fish, with one team placing third out of 92 boats.

    So proud of the community for coming together to make this new program happen. From the individuals donating their boats, their time, and knowledge, to the sponsors who have overwhelmingly stepped up to support the teams financially. To see this kind of result from their very first event is absolutely wonderful.
