The Manning Police Department has arrested a woman officers accused earlier Sunday of trying to pass counterfeit money at a local gas station.
Chief Blair Shaffer said that Malinda Lloyd of Meagen Lane in Manning will be charged with forgery.
"Passing counterfeit money falls under the forgery statute," Shaffer said.
Police sent out a photograph of Lloyd and of a maroon Mercedes earlier Sunday in an attempt to find the suspect.
