The National Weather Service out of Columbia has issued a Tornado Warning for west Central Clarendon County through 2 p.m..
At 1:12 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing tornado activity was located over Elloree, or 14 miles east of Brookdale, moving north at 30 mph. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely.
