Clarendon School District 1, in partnership with the Reading Roadmap, will submit an application to the South Carolina Department of Education for a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant.
If awarded, the grand funds will be used to establish and support an afterschool and summer program at Summerton Early Childhood Center. The program will provide academic support, enrichment activities and family literacy activities.
Members of the community, students and parents are invited to participate in the planning process.
