The Clarendon County Pilot Club held its annual Walk for Brain Health on Saturday morning at Manning High School, with members and visitors walking a mile on the Ramsey Stadium track. Through fundraisers and donations in the past year, the club was able to provide various checks to the Rotary Club's Alzheimer's Research Program; Camp Burnt Gin; the Wounded Warriors; the Special Olympics; United Ministries; the Council on Aging; and the Laurence Manning Academy Anchor Club. Funds have also been used to purchase bike helmets for Kids' Day of Clarendon County.

All of these charities are in line with the Pilot Club's main purpose, working to raise awareness on brain disorders.
