Guilty Pleas: Oct. 2-6

The following pleas were heard during a session of General Sessions in the 3rd Circuit Court of Clarendon County before Judge George M. McFaddin Jr. Jasper Terrel Anderson of 1015 Crawford Drive in Manning pleaded guilty Oct. 6, 2017, to possession of other controlled substance in Schedule IV, first offense, receiving a $50 fine. Cannon Mitchell Bonar of 450 Al Henderson Blvd in Savannah, Georgia, pleaded guilty Oct. 4 to hit and run, duties of driver involved in accident with property damage, receiving a sentence of a $100 fine. Robin Denise Booth of 1205 Coker St. in Turbeville pleaded guilty Oct. 5 to forgery of a value less than $10,000, receiving a sentence of one year in prison, suspended to one year's probation. Allyn Colen Bryant II of 580 Sam Brown Road in Kingstree pleaded guilty Oct. 5 to one count of forgery of a value less than $10,000 and three counts of financial transaction card fraud of a value of $500 or less in a six-month period, receiving concurrent sentences of one year in prison, suspended to 45 days and one year's probation. Joshua Demond Coard of 108 Nelson Circle in Manning pleaded guilty Oct. 5 to third-degree domestic violence, receiving a sentence of 90 days in jail, suspended to time-served. According to the Clarendon County Public Court Index, Coard posted a $5,000 personal recognizance bond on June 10, the day of his arrest. Romie Conyers of 216 Packard Lane in Manning pleaded guilty Oct. 3 to four counts of the manufacture, distribution, etc., of cocaine-base, first offense; five counts of distribution, selling, four manufacturing or possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance near a school; and one count of trafficking in ice, crank, crack, 10 grams or more, but less than 28 grams, first offense, receiving a sentence of eight years in prison. Conyers also pleaded guilty to possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, if not also sentenced to life without parole or death, receiving a concurrent sentence of five years in prison. According to the Clarendon County Public Court Index, two charges were dropped by the 3rd Circuit Solitor's Office, including manufacturing, distributing or possessing narcotic drugs in Schedule I(b) and I(c), LSD and Schedule II (Cocaine), third or subsequent offense; and one count of distributing, selling, manufacturing or possessing with intent to distribute a controlled substance near a school. Randal Wayne Dorrell of 4753 U.S. 301 in Alcolu pleaded guilty Oct. 4 to the unlawful carrying of a pistol, receiving one year in prison, suspended to time served. According to the Clarendon County Public Court Index, no bond was granted to Dorrell after his arrest Nov. 6, 2016. The court index also shows that six other charges were dropped by the 3rd Circuit Solicitor's Office, including three counts of threatening the life, person or family of a public employee; one count of threatening the life, person or family of a public official, teacher or principal; resisting arrest, opposing or resisting law enforcement officer serving process or making an arrest; and possession of other controlled substances in Schedule I to V, first offense. Aislinne Brooke Langston of 1827 Eastside St. in Summerville pleaded guilty Oct. 6 to financial transaction card fraud of a value more than $500 in a six month period, by cardholder, receiving a sentence of four years in prison, suspended to three years' probation. According to the Clarendon County Public Court Index, Langston was initially charged Aug. 24 with financial transaction card fraud, lawful owner of card exceeding limits. The index also indicates that nine counts of that same charge were dropped by the 3rd Circuit Solicitor's Office. Elvinas Metaitis of 3310 Deercreek of Miami, Florida, pleaded guilty Oct. 6 financial transaction card fraud of a value more than $500 in a six month period, receiving a sentence to time-served. According to the Clarendon County Public Court Index, no bond was granted after Metaitis' arrest Sept. 26. Matthew Ryan Proctor of 6630 Gulledge Road in Wedgefield pleaded guilty to non-violent, second-degree burglary; two counts of grand larceny of a value more than $2,000, but less than $10,000; and eight counts of breaking into motor vehicles or tanks or pumps where fuel and lubricants are stored. He received concurrent sentences under the Youthful Offender Act not to exceed three years in prison. The Clarendon County Public Court Index indicates that five counts of breaking into motor vehicles or tanks or pumps where fuel and lubricants are stored were dropped by the 3rd Circuit Solicitor's Office. Jeff Bernard Reardon of 4790 U.S. 378 in Turbeville pleaded guilty Oct. 5 to third-degree domestic violence, receiving a sentence of 90 days in jail, suspended to time-served. According to the Clarendon County Public Court Index, Reardon served one day in the Clarendon County Detention Center after his arrest July 2. April Gilbert Saye of 14 Major Drive in Manning pleaded guilty Oct. 3 to forgery with no dollar amount involved, receiving a sentence of one year in prison, suspended to probation and restitution. Cecil Gunter Scott of 1098 Kolb Road in Manning pleaded guilty Oct. 5 to possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine or cocaine-base, first offense, receiving a sentence of one year in prisons, suspended to one year's probation. Simon Emmanuel Scott of 1353 Roosevelt Drive in Summerton pleaded guilty Oct. 5 to first-degree domestic violence, receiving a sentence of 90 days in jail, suspended to time served. According to the Clarendon County Public Court Index, Scott was held at the Clarendon County Detention Center since his arrest Aug. 7, denied bond by a county magistrate judge. David Bryan Tyler of 2550 Tyler Lane in Sumter pleaded guilty Oct. 6 to one count of possession of less than one gram of methamphetamine or cocaine-base, first offense; and one count of possession of other controlled substance in Schedule I to V. He received concurrent sentences of a $50 court fine. Erik Zubenko of 3310 Deercreek in Miami, Florida pleaded guilty Oct. 6 to financial transaction card fraud of a value of $500 or less in a six month period, receiving a sentence of one year in prison, suspended to time served. Zubenko, according to the Clarendon County Public Court Index, had been held at the Clarendon County Detention Center without bond since his arrest Sept. 26.
