Three suspects have been arrested in response to vehicle break-ins in the Turbeville area.
Sheriff Tim Baxley said the suspects were apprehended on Thursday. He declined to give further detail, saying the investigation is ongoing and could lead to further charges.
"We have an ongoing investigation, and this could be connected to several other counties," he said. "I don't want to jeopardize our investigation, but I do want people to know that we have apprehended these suspects who have been breaking into (residents' properties)."
