The Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats defeated the Manning High School Monarchs at the Palmetto Tennis Center on Senior Appreciation Day on Wednesday.
The Swampcats' four seniors manned the Top 4 singles positions.
Madison Ham (LMA) defeated Marie Joyner (MHS) by scores of 6-2 and 6-0. Eliza Davis (LMA) defeated Lorena Sanchez (MHS) by scores of 6-3 and 6-2. Carley Tsukalas (LMA) defeated Katie Feagin (MHS) by scores of 6-3 and 7-6. Kailyn Vicente (MHS) defeated Kayla Mack (LMA) by scores of 6-3 (L), 6-1 (W) and 10-7 (W). Carrie Rickenbaker (LMA) defeated Faith White by scores of 6-1 and 6-0. Katherine Burns (LMA) defeated Heather Varn (MHS) by scores of 6-0 and 6-0.
In doubles, Mason Ham and Eliza Davis (LMA) defeated Marie Joyner and Lorena Sanchez (MHS) by a score of 8-2. Carley Tsukalas and Kayla Mack (LMA) defeated Katie Feagin and Kailyn Vicente (MHS) by a final score of 8-5. Carrie Rickenbaker and Laura Helen Johnson (LMA) defeated Grayce Lemon and Sabrina Powers by a final score of 8-1.
