JV Swampcats maintain perfect record, to start playoffs

The Laurence Manning Academy junior varsity football team defeated Wilson Hall on Thursday at home by a final score of 27-8.
A.J. Nelson helped the team finish the regular season with a 6-0 record by throwing four touchdown passes during Thursday’s game. Nickey Jordan caught two of those. Mark Lupori and Nolan Osteen each caught one.
Dalton Huggins led the JV Swampcats’ defense, netting four tackles. Bryce Acord and Nelson each had one interception.
The team begins playoffs this week.
