The University of South Carolina Sumter Athletics Department will host a golf tournament starting 8:30 a.m. Friday at Beech Creek Golf Course, 1800 Sam Gillespie Blvd. in Sumter, in partnership with the American Heart Association.
The tournament will feature a four-player, Captain's choice format. There will be special hole-in-one options, an opportunity to beat the coach and prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive.
Cash prizes will be available for the top three teams. All proceeds will benefit Fire Ant Athletics and the American Heart Association.
