Manning man, woman charged with possession of stolen vehicle in Kansas

A Manning man and woman face several charges after their arrests in a small Kansas town. Leslie Fielder and Timothy Purvis were arrested Wednesday during a traffic stop and charged with possession of a stolen vehicle, illegal tag and no insurance, according to a story from KSL-TV. According to the Russell (Kansas) Police Department, a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by Fielder was stopped a Witt and Fossil streets just after 8:30 p.m. Wednesday due to having an expired tag. The officer then discovered the tag should have been displayed on a 1994 Chrysler and that the Toyota had been reported stolen. Purvis also faces a charge of felony possession of a firearm and felony obstruction.
