South Carolina Attorney Gen. Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Leon Bobby Jones-Hubbard, 23, of Cheraw, on 11 charges connected to the exploitation of a minor. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Attorney General's Office made the arrest. Investigators with the Cheraw Police Department and Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office, also members of the state’s ICAC Task Force, assisted with the investigation. Investigators state Jones-Hubbard distributed and possessed files of child pornography. Jones-Hubbard was previously arrested in 2016 on related charges and was out on bond when he re-offended. Jones-Hubbard was arrested on July 26. He is charged with one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, second degree, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count; and 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, third degree, a felony offense punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment on each count. The case will be prosecuted by the Attorney General's Office. Wilson stresses all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until they are proven guilty in a court of law.
