An employee with a store in the 600 block of South Mill Street in Manning told the Manning Police Department about 9:49 a.m. July 7 that a 32-year-old man entered the store and took an 18 pack of Budweiser beer valued at $10.95 without paying for it.
The employee told police that this was not the suspects first time taking things from the store without paying for them. The employee said the man ran out of the store and ran into the woods behind the store after taking the beer. Police were unable to find the man at the time of the call.
