TURBEVILLE - Lillie Mae Evans McDowell, 72, wife of George McDowell, died Wednesday, June 21, 2017, at Carolinas Hospital System in Florence.
Born Dec. 12, 1944, in Kingstree, she was a daughter of the late William Evans and Sally Pearson Evans.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, June 26, 2017, at St. John AME Church in the Workman Crossroad commumity of Kingstree, with the Rev. Fredrick Johnson, pastor, providing eulogy; the Rev. Leroy Evans presiding; and Minister Willie Evans and Minister Timothy Brand assisting.
Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
The family will friends at the home, 2981 Horse Branch Road in Turbeville.
These services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
