The Clarendon County Sheriff's Office has charged three and is seeking three others in relation to an alleged kidnapping and home invasion of a Bloomville home earlier this month.

The three suspects charged June 12 include Jazzmin Toni Bush-Carter, 19, of 1435 Jeff Drive in Manning, Jamari Asir Canty, 18, of 1242 Goodwill Church Road in Manning, and Hervon Shy Heim Grayson, 18, of 2920 Poole Road in Sumter, all of whom are charged with one count each of first-degree burglary and four counts each of kidnapping.

According to reports from the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office, six suspects entered a home on Bloomville Road, forcing their way through the back door in an attempt to find a subject known as "Briscoe." One of the six included an Hispanic male known only at the time as "Pony Tail," who too an assault rifle and fired it in the floor while threatening the victims, which included a 4-year-old child, a 17-year-old and a couple in their 60s.

Suspects took all cell phones and house phones and placed them in a sink full of water so the victims could not notify law enforcement, and the victims were held against their will.

"Three of the suspects have been arrested, and that's Bush-Carter, Canty and Grayson," said Sheriff Tim Baxley.

He said his office is still seeking three suspects, one of which, Lorenzo Trujillo Mederos, 35, was identified later as the man named "Pony Tail." He is said to be armed and dangerous. He is of Hispanic descent and his last known address was in Holly HIll. He has 10 outstanding warrants for first-degree burglar, four counts of kidnapping, three counts of pointing and presenting a firearm, and one count each of possession of a weapon during a violent crime and shooting into an occupied dwelling.

Two other suspects are said to be of Hispanic descent and are from the beach area.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or these suspects is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at (803) 435-4414. Callers may remain anonymous.
