Hardee's to reopen Monday morning

Hardee’s on Sunset Drive will reopen its doors for business Monday, operating at the same location it has for decades.

The restaurant’s former structure was demolished earlier this year to make way for the construction of its replacement, which will feature the same menu as before.

Mike Boddie, president of Boddie-Noell Enterprises, which owns the franchise, said the new restaurant will seat 69 guests and has a contemporary look in line with the latest “retro” Hardee’s design. A new digital menu board will sit in the counter area. The business will also feature free Wi-Fi for customers to enjoy.

Boddie said the restaurant will be open seven days a week and include drive-thru service, as it did in the prior structure.

Boddie said his family is excited to bring an updated version of the popular restaurant chain to the area.

“We appreciate your patience for the past three months as customers while the restaurant was under construction,” said Boddie. “As a family-owned company, we are glad to be involved again in the community and supporting the growth of the Clarendon County area.”

The soon-to-be-open business is one of 342 locations operated by the company, which has been a Hardee’s franchise operator for 55 years. It is the largest Hardee’s franchisee in the United States.

The company is based in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Hours will be from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
