Anderson plays in North-South tournament

East Clarendon High School graduate Mikayla Anderson was a member of the South 5-2-1 A team which played in the North-South Tournament this week in Aiken. The team ultimately kept it a close 6-5 to South 3-4A, but came up short. Anderson was the only senior chosen from all public schools in Clarendon, Lee, Williamsburg, Kershaw and Sumter counties. She was a member of the 2013 and 2017 State Championship winning Lady Wolverines softball team. Only 50 softball players were chosen from the entire state for the North-South teams playing in the tournament, and Anderson was one of only five Class A players from the entire state chosen as well.
