USC Sumter names Clarendon Silver Medallion Scholars

The University of South Carolina Sumter has announced several Clarendon students receiving recognition as Silver Medallion Scholars. To qualify for inclusion, students must have completed at least 30 hours at a University of South Carolina campus with a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.0, and have achieved a 3.5 to 3.94 GPA for the Spring 2017 semester while being registered for 12 or more hours on the Sumter campus, of which at least six hours must be USC Sumter courses. Those from Clarendon include Julia Morris of Alcolu; Jalaina Brown, Garrett Fuller and Francine Washington, all of Manning; Hannah Yarborough of New Zion; and Maria De Leon of Summerton.
