Mary Felder Miller, 90 widow of Leon Miller, died Sunday, June 11, 2017, at her home.

Born Sept. 30, 1926, in Jordan, she was a daughter of the late Willie Felder and Christine Robinson Felder. She attended Clarendon County public schools. At an early age, she became a member of Mt. Chapel Baptist Church in Manning, where she served with various ministries. Later in life, she joined the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.

She was employed with the Clarendon Memorial Hospital operating room as a technician and aide for more than 30 years.

Survivors include her loving and devoted children, Harry L. Miller of the home, Timothy Miller (Malva) and Northern Miller (Patricia), both of Alcolu, Willie E. Miller of Sumter and Bobbie J. Boulware (Curtis) of Columbia; two sisters, Willie Mae Lemon of Baltimore, Maryland, and Mary A. (Herbert) Reid of Manning; a special friend-daughter, Jaunita (Fladger) Parson; a special cousin and caregiver, Elma (Paul) Blackwell; a cousin, James Dingle; a special lifetime friends, Viola Lemon Cain; five brothers-in-law, Temple (Shirley) Miller and Arnett (Mary) Miller, both of Hampton, Virginia, Sam (Liz) Miller of Sumter, Jonah (Rut) Miller of Irvington, New Jersey, and Aquilla (Shirley) Miller of Denmark; a sister-in-law, Nellie Miller of Honolulu, Hawaii; an additional brother-in-law, Andrew Poinsette of Charleston;an additional sister-in-law, Ruth Miller of Columbia; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The celebratory services for Mary Felder Miller will be held 2 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2017, at Manning Junior High School, 1101 W.L. Hamilton Road in Manning, with the Rev. W.J. Frierson officiating. The Rev. Delbert Singleton will preside, assisted by Bishop George McKnight and the Rev. Charles Smith.

Burial will follow in Union Cypress Church cemetery in Manning.

The family will receive friends at the home, 107 W. Huggins St. in Manning.

Services were entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
