TURBEVILLE - Samuel Edward Prince, 96, widower of Mary Lee Cousar Prince, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at his home.
Born April 8, 1921, in Turbeville, he was a son of the late Solomon Prince and Lula Robertha Johnson Prince.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Mt. Sinai AME Church, 5980 Mt. Sinai Church Road in Lynchburg, with the Rev. Marie D. Webb, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Edward Cemetery in Lynchburg.
Te family received friends at the home, 1902 Plantation Village in Turbeville.
Services were entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
