The Phi Omega Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. of Manning sponsored a pageant May 20 at Manning Junior High School, selecting Milan Durant as Little Miss Ivy Pearl. The pageant helps to support the chapter's efforts in providing scholarships to graduates in Clarendon School Districts 1, 2 and 3. Contestants for Little Miss Ivy Pearl, aside from Durant, included Christian Cooper, who was named 1st runner-up. Other winners will be posted throughout the remainder of the week.
