SUMMERTON – Charles Robert Warner, 85, widower of Marilyn Randall Warner, died Friday, June 9, 2017, at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Born April 13, 1932, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a son of the late Charles B. Warner and Elizabeth Kramer Warner. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars, with 26 years of service. He was a member of Summerton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Christine Franklin (Brian) of Clover; a brother, Michael J. Warner (Judy) of Kentucky; a sister, Margaret Garner (Steve) of Kentucky; two grandchildren; and a special friend, Irene Wilson of Sevierville, Tennessee.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Bowers officiating.

Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at Stephens Funeral Home.

A graveside service with full military honors will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Florence National Cemetery.
