Cell phone stolen from Alex Harvin Highway motel room

A cell phone valued at $300 was reportedly stolen from a motel on Alex Harvin Highway in Manning sometime during the evening hours on June 2, according to reports from the Clarendon County Sheriff's Office. The phone's owner told deputies that he left his room to get ice and that he left the door unlocked when he went. He said he didn't notice his phone was missing until about 8:20 a.m. June 3. He further told deputies that the phone was worth $300, although he couldn't remember what make or model the phone was.
