Poor Boy's Angler Fishing Club will host a free fishing tournament for children ages 5 to 15 on Saturday at Pack's Landing, 9890 Pack's Landing Road in Pinewood.
Weigh in will be at noon. The event includes a lunch with a hot dog, chips and a drink. Ashley Hardee, who is organizing the event, said children will get participation trophies, and they will compete for trophies in bream and bass categories, including weight and largest fish.
Hardee said the children will likely be divided into two groups based on their ages.
