Vacation Bible School opportunities for the week of June 4-8

The following opportunities are open to the public for Vacation Bible School in Clarendon County throughout the week of June 4-8.

PINEWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH

Pinewood Baptist Church, 10 E. Fulton St. in Pinewood, will hold "Galactic Starveyors - Discovering the God of the Universe" from 6-9 p.m. June 4, 6:30 to 9 p.m. June 5-7 and a 6:30 p.m. June 8. This vacation Bible school is for all those ages 3 and older, through adults. There will be worship, games, food and more. Registration will be 6 p.m. June 4. SUMMERTON BAPTIST CHURCH

Summerton Baptist Church, 215 Main St. in Summerton, will hold "Galactic Starveyors - Discovering the God of the Universe" from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 4-8 for children in K4 through sixth grades.

NEW COVENANT PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 2833 Alex Harvin Highway in Manning, will hold "Victory! The Ultimate Pep Rally!" from 5:30 to 8 p.m. June 5-8 for children in K5 through fifth grades. Children will learn about having victory in Jesus!

TURBEVILLE SOUTHERN METHODIST CHURCH

Turbeville Southern Methodist Church will hold its Vacation Bible School beginning 5 p.m. June 4 and continuing at 5:30 p.m. daily from June 5-8. For more information, visit tsmc.church/events-calendar.

THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH AT MANNING

The Presbyterian Church at Manning, 233 N. Brooks St. in Manning, will hold "Dare to Be a Daniel" from 5:30-8 p.m. June 5-8 for children just finishing K4 through fifth grades. Pre-registration is now open to the public. Monday will focus on choosing the right friends and God as a rewarder, using verses from Daniel 1:5-6 and 18-20. Tuesday will involve believing that God goes before you, using verses from Daniel 3. Wednesday will involve knowing that God is always with you, using verses from Daniel 6; Thursday will focus on Daniel and prayer. Thursday evening will feature a night in the wild, and families are invited to join in VBS. Adult volunteers are needed, and kids in sixth grades and older are asked to volunteer as well.
