Summerton Early Childhood Center second-graders will take their annual field trip to Amtrak in Florence on Friday. They will take a ride on the Amtrak and explore the different cultures of the Pee Dee. Kindergarteners will go to Swan Lake-Iris Gardens in Sumter.
First- and second-grade students will take their third benchmark test on May 16-17.
May Day will be celebrated May 25. The time will be announced later.
The Second Grade Transition Program will be 6 p.m. May 31.
