Sam Peter Dukes Jr., 66, died Monday, April 24, 2017, at his home, 2023 Joseph Lemon& Dingle Road in Manning.
Born June 12, 1950, in the Jordan community of Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Sam Peter Dukes Sr. and Azalea McKinney Dukes.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017, at Union Cypress AME Church, 8247 S.C. 260 in Manning, with the Rev. Mary Hamilton, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of his sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Dukes, 6284 Moses Dingle Road in Jordan.
Services have been entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
