Dennis Craven of Santee Automotive, center, presented a $5,000 1st place check to Mike Watson and Craig McFadden, who caught a total of 35.43 pounds of fish Saturday during the Santee Cooper Open Team Fishing Tournament presented by Santee Ford Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. The tournament was held on Lake Marion as part of the 38th annual Striped Bass Festival, which was presented by the Clarendon County Chamber of Commerce. Watson and McFadden also took the $500 prize for Big Fish at 8.26 pounds. More than 200 fishermen participated in the one-day tournament, which paid out about $20,000 in prizes.
