Wallace "Lucky" Burgess Jr., husband of Betty Whitfield Burgess, died Monday, April 10, 2017, at McLeod Health Clarendon in Manning.
Born Feb. 24, 1947, in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Wallace Burgess Sr. and Annie Wilson Burgess.
Celebratory services were held Monday, April 17, 2017, at Upon This Rock Ministries, 10040 U.S. 521 in Greeleyville with Pastor Harry Robinson officiating. Burial followed in Muldrow Cemetery in Manning.
The family received friends at the home, 1901 Flinn Road in Manning.
Services were entrusted to Samuels Funeral Home LLC of Manning.
