Cornelia “Carnelia” Elizabeth Tilton Broadway, 64, widow of Wayne Broadway, died Sunday, April 9, 2017, at McCoy Nursing Home in Bishopville.

Born July 4, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Robert Tilton and Betty Cox Tilton. She was a member of Cypress Fork Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Steven Broadway of Manning; two daughters, Frances Cassidy of Sumter and Angela Broadway of Manning; nine grandchildren, Kristen Hartley, Wade Rhodus, Brody Rhodus, Trey Hartley, Breanna Rhodus, Terran Atkinson, Lizzie Broadway, Christian Broadway and Jacob Broadway; a great grandchild, Olivia Grace Rhodus; two brothers, Tony Tilton and Patrick Tilton, both of Manning; and five sisters, Mildred Sims (James) and Kathy Cales (Robert, both of Manning, Ora Bowers and Bertha Powell, both of Hemmingway, and Patricia Wright (Chris) of Sumter..

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Cypress Fork Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Steve McCutcheon and Rev. Darren Squires officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers will include Steven Broadway, Wade Rhodus, Brody Rhodus, Trey Hartley, Pat Roberson and Michael Cales.

A visitation will take place from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 14, 2017, at Stephens Funeral Home, and other times at the home, 3009 Kingstree Highway in Manning.

The family request memorials to be made to Cypress Fork Free Will Baptist Church.
