SIMPSONVILLE - Janet Marie Rochester, 52, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at her home.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of June Janelia Mayfield Rochester and the late Rev. William F. Rochester, Jr. Janet was a registered respiratory therapist with Greenville Hospital System at Hillcrest Sleep Lab. She received multiple service awards for her work over the years. She was a member of Double Springs Baptist Church in Townville.
Survivors besides her mother of Williamston include three brothers, Benjamin Rochester of Manning, Joseph W. Rochester and wife Theresa of Honea Path, and Jonathan E. Rochester and wife Cindy of Belton; eight nieces and nephews; 11 great-nieces and great-nephews; and one great-great-niece and one great-great-nephew.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017, at Sullivan-King Mortuary Chapel, conducted by Chaplain Traci Bennett. The family will received friends for an hour Saturday at the mortuary, 3205 North Highway 81 in Anderson.
