Councilman and Mrs. Billy G. Richardson of Pinewood announce the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Joyce Richardson, to Samuel Myers III, son of Gwendolyn L. Myers of Midway, Georgia, and the late Samuel Myers Jr.
The bride-elect received a bachelor of science degree from South Carolina State University, and a master of social work degree from the University of South Carolina. She is employed with the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center in Columbia as a senior social worker, and is also a licensed psychotherapist with Irmo Counseling Services LLC.
The groom-elect received an associate of arts degree from Midlands Technical College and a bachelor of science degree from the University of Phoenix. He is an Air Force veteran and is employed as a patient advocate with the William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center.
The wedding is planned for late October in Sumter.
