SLED issues Amber Alert for 15-year-old girl

The S.C. Law Enforcement Division has announced an Amber Alert out of Georgia for a 15-year-old girl allegedly abducted Sunday by a 37-year-old Georgia man. Jason Ardis Johnson is described as weighing 175 pounds, and standing 5-foot-8. He had blue eyes and dirty blonde or blonde hair, although dispatchers relayed that he may have shaved his head recently. The girl is described as a white female weighing 98 pounds and standing 5-foot-4. She has blonde hair. Johnson is believed to be driving a tan 1998 Ford Crown Victoria with the license plate KVJ 240. Columbia County (Georgia) Services Division spokeswoman Pam Tucker told the Augusta Chronicle that the teen is Calah Noel Waskow, who was last seen at a home in the 500 block of Southern Hills in Evans, Georgia. A release from the agency says she is in "extreme danger." Anyone who knows the whereabouts of Johnson or the girl are asked to call 911 immediately.
