Wrecked truck blocking U.S. 15 south, knocks out power for 415 homes

The S.C. Highway Patrol is reporting a tractor-trailer wreck on U.S. 15 South outside of Paxville that is currently blocking both lanes of traffic.

The truck reportedly hit a power pole and another vehicle. The driver of the truck is currently trapped in the vehicle, and first responders are trying to get him out. Reports indicate the power lines are still live. According to Duke Progress Energy, 415 homes are currently affected by the pole being down. The wreck is specifically at the intersection of U.S. 15 South and McLeod Road.
