The Pee Dee Realtor Association and South Carolina Realtors have partnered with the Realtor Relief Foundation and other state associations to provide aid for Hurricane Matthew victims. If you live in an area that was declared a disaster area and your home has been damaged by Hurricane Matthew, officials say you may be eligible for financial help. The foundation has $200,000 to give out to those in need in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida. Those that qualify will receive a check to pay their mortgage or rent, up to $1,000. They said this financial support allows victims to use their own money to fix damages. "A thousand dollars may not fix everything but every little bit will help. I mean, even if it was $100, it would definitely help a family. We're offering so much more. We're offering our time. We're offering help $1,000. can really go a long way," said Keon Aldrich, Vice President of Pee Dee Realtor Association. There is no deadline to apply, but the help is only available until funds run out. For more information email info@peedeerealtors.com or go to the SC Realtors website.
