A Summerton man who went missing Monday night from a Sumter nursing facility has been found safe and sound.
Leroy Wilder, 75, formerly of the Silver and Summerton areas, was found in the U.S. 15 North area in Sumter late Tuesday night, shortly after the Sumter Police reached out to manninglive.com to ask readers for help in locating the missing man.
Spokeswoman Tonyia McGirt said that Wilder was uninjured and in good spirits.
