Lula Mae Brooks Edmond, 102, died Thursday, Sept. 1, 2016, at George Washington Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13 at Laurel Hill AME Church, 2032 M.W. Rickenbaker Road in Davis Station, where the Rev. Marie Harvin serves as senior pastor.
A viewing was held Friday, Sept. 12, 2016, at the funeral home.
The family will receive friends at the home of her sister-in-law, Hester Pearson and niece, Jeanette Pearson Boatwright, 1615 M.W. Rickenbaker Road in Davis Station.
