Tickets on sale soon for 21st King’s Tree Trials

If you like the thought of spending a delightful Saturday in November with family and friends watching thoroughbreds and quarter horses race in the beautiful farm setting in Williamsburg County, you’ll want to join the crowd at the 21st Running of the King’s Tree Trials. The event is held at McCutchen Training Center east of Kingstree in the Cedar Swamp Community off Cedar Swamp Road on Central Road. The race will be held Nov. 5 with post time at noon.
Parking is available in the infield inside the racetrack from $30.00 to $50.00 or outside in general parking for $10.00. Tailgating is allowed in the infield, or food may be purchased from the concession. Tickets are $15.00 per person, children 2 years old and under are free.
Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber office in Kingstree at 131 North Academy starting 8 a.m. Oct. 11. For more information, call the Williamsburg Home Town Chamber at 355-6431.
