Richbourg: Fire that killed Davis Station woman likely accidental

Chief Frances Richbourg said a late July fire that resulted in the death of a 62-year-old Davis Station woman was likely caused by accidental means. "We've not seen any evidence that leads us toward any intentional act by anyone at this point in time," said Richbourg of the fire on Ferris Street in Davis Station that killed Paralee Sabb. The woman was pronounced dead at her home about 9:30 p.m. July 29 shortly after a fire broke out at her home. "We still have it listed as undetermined," said Richbourg. "That's because we can't specifically say what caused it, but we just don't see anything suspicious that would lead us to believe foul play was involved."
