Clemson awards summer degrees

Two Clarendon residents were awarded degrees at Clemson University’s summer 2016 commencement exercises in early August.
They included Mary Hyatt Deschamps Baker of Manning, who graduated with a bachelor of science degree in parks, recretion and tourism management; and Bradley O’Neal Briggs of Summerton, who graduated with a bachelor of science in computer information systems.
They were among nearly 1,000 students who received degrees in the Aug. 5 graduation ceremony at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina.
