Areas of the state are expected to receive substantial rainfall and moderate winds due to the approaching tropical storm system from Florida. Currently, the National Weather Service is predicting this storm will affect the midlands of South Carolina Friday afternoon and into Friday evening.
As a precautionary measure and for the safety of our Veterans, the leadership of the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center has decided to cancel patient appointments for the Sumter, Orangeburg and Florence clinics for Friday. VA staff will be contacting patients to reschedule their appointments.
