Flood Advisory issued for Greeleyville through 6:30 p.m.

The National Weather Service out of Columbia has issued a flood advisory for Greeleyville and other parts of Williamsburg County until 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. At 3:35 p.m., Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Showers with isolated thunderstorms will continue to develop and move over the same areas through the late afternoon hours. Radar estimates that two to three inches of rain has fallen in some areas over the past several hours. An additional inch or two is possible in these areas over the next few hours.
