Clarendon County Council will hold third and final reading Monday during its regular meeting on the issue of a Sunday alcohol sales referendum, which will allow registered voters in Clarendon County to vote whether stores and restaurants may sell spirits and beer on Sundays come November's general election.

A public hearing was held during the group's July meeting in which only two people spoke, both of whom expressed a favorable opinion for Sunday sales.

Council meets at 6 p.m. Monday at the Clarendon County Administration Building. The meeting is open to the public, and residents are encouraged to attend.
