Letter: Thank you for your support of Camp Happy Days

Posted

This was a fantastic year for Camp Happy Days. More than 265 campers, along with their counselors, volunteers, medical staff and other workers made this the largest camp ever. It would not be possible without the generous donors who gave and gave.

For more than 34 years, Camp Happy Days has offered support and encouragement to families fighting pediatric cancer. During this time, we have grown from serving a handful of local children to serving more than 565 families throughout South Carolina.

The goal is to help improve the emotional, physical and psychological health of children and families in our communities who are affected by pediatric cancer.

I would like to give a special thank you to the Edwin Boyle Santee Summer Ministry – commonly known in the area as boat church – who gave a generous donation to Camp Happy Days in memory of former board members Murl White and Bill Noonan.
