SUMMERTON - James Ledwell, 52, died Saturday, July 9, 2016, at McLeod Health Clarendon.
Born Oct. 11, 1963, in New York, New York, he was a son of the late Jim Ledwell and Wilhelmina Butler Ledwell. He was raised by his aunt, Roxie Mae Miller.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 15, 2016, at Green Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1270 Green Hill Church Road in Alcolu, with the Rev. Delbert H. Singleton Jr., pastor, officiating, and the Rev. David Lawson presiding.
Burial followed in the churchyard cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the home of his aunt, 210 Spann St. in Manning.
