I pause to say Thank you to everyone of you who reach out and touched me for the outpouring of love and kindness toward my family in our celebration of the life of Billie L. White Sr. Your prayers, cards, flowers and other acts of kindness have been an inspiration tome and my family Your gestures have brought comfort to our hearts in a loving and kind way.
At the end of the day, you have to remember, no matter how hard it is or how bad it seems, when you stay strong and prayed-up, you're going to bounce back from it all. Amen.
Bill once said before his passing that in a relationship you can't just do what you want. You always have to think about the other person, and it is sometimes what people don't understand.
Bill, to me you were someone with just the right mix of sweetness and strength; one who didn't crumble under pressure; and a fighter who was busy fighting and who would not sit down and cry for long because he knew it was OK to do both.
Bill was a person who didn't always ask for much, but he had a lot of friends who would do anything to help him along the way. I know he would like for me to call him "My Bill." He was also my "Tough Cookie."
