A Pinewood man who was sought in connection with a May 29 shooting incident in Myrtle Beach has turned himself into authorities there. Shaylan Charvoris Isaac, 21, turned himself into authorities Monday, according to Sumter Sheriff's Office spokesman Ken Bell. Isaac is charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm during a violent crime for his alleged part in the shooting of an unidentified victim at the Holiday Sands Hotel in Myrtle Beach late May 29. A co-defendant was also arrested in the incident. The victim's status was not available. Bell said that a relative brought Isaac to the Sumter County Sheriff's Office without incident. He was taken to the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center, where an additional warrant was served for an alleged violation of prior parole terms.
